Schedule, assign and prioritize work of individuals and teams engaged in the maintenance and operation of Victoria Golf Course.

Scout and evaluate plant health, diseases and pests in order to implement preventative and curative measures with very minimal use of pesticides, focusing on cultural practices.

Develop a strong team dynamic through cooperative projects and solo assignments with a commitment to a team based approach and following core standard expectations.

Develop and adapt changing maintenance priorities related to operating budgets and the overall yearly maintenance plan.

Prepare annual budgetary documentation and reports to measure success and potential areas for improvement.

Effectively deliver hiring, orientation and training programs that will ensure golf team safety and effectively manage the core product.

Attend greens committee meetings and participate in public engagement and corporate meetings as needed.

Coordinate mechanical repairs and equipment maintenance throughout the season, internally and externally through additional vendors.

Ordering and procurement of all golf course consumables and big ticket items.

Effectively monitor and use water responsibly, with the goal of continually reducing usage numbers. Additionally assisting with irrigation repairs and programming through Toro Lynx software.

Create, implement and manage custom designed software to be used when managing staff tasks, monitoring expenditures, assessing course conditions, and increasing effective communication between departments and membership.
